About our cook with edible bugs events

The overall duration of your alternative group cookery class experience is approximately 3 hours. We offer an edible insect restaurant experience in London where you will cook, learn and dine. This unique offering, encompasses a professional, hands-on class and workshops for team building, private parties, and social gatherings, ultimately providing opportunities to learn culinary skills and enjoy a shared meal.

What the group cookery class consists of

  • 10m [optional] watch a short presentation – entomophagy and the benefits of switching to insects for sustenance.
  • 1.5h hands-on preparation of edible insects recipes to eat for you lunch or dinner.
  • 1.5h enjoy what you’ve prepared together with the other guests

What’s on our edible insect menu

Below is an example of the typical menu we offer at the alternative group cooking class, when you are joining us in our fully equipped kitchen. However, if you’d prefer us to bring the experience to you, we will adjust the menu to suit space and equipment you have available.

Sample menu

– Italian style bruschetta garnished with crickets. A classic Italian-style bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes, herbs, and a crunchy twist of edible crickets for a unique flavour experience.

– Curries insect nuggets. Crispy insect-based nuggets infused with aromatic curry spices, offering a protein-packed twist on a classic comfort food

– Prepare our signature Ento Veggie Burger – a delicious plant-based patty enriched with sustainable insect protein, packed with flavour and nutrients. Just like the one we proudly cooked for the BBC – read more in our post.

– Indulgent chocolate rice crispies cakes with a crunchy twist – topped with crispy mealworms for a sweet treat that’s as adventurous as it is delicious.

– Coconut and raisin insect protein ball

Additionally, soft drinks included; no alcohol to be consumed on our premises

Not suitable for people with seafood, crustacean and dust mite allergies. Also please note that the insects may have been fed a diet containing gluten and soy.
