Notes

edible insects fruit and nuts granolaThis innovative Edible Insects, Fruits, and Nuts Granola takes your breakfast or snack time to a new level of nutrition and sustainability. We combine classic, comforting flavours with a future-forward protein source. The recipe starts with hearty rolled oats toasted to a golden-brown perfection, creating a satisfying crunch. This base is enriched with a vibrant medley of naturally sweett dried fruits (like cranberries, apricots, or raisins) and a selection of wholesome nuts and seeds (such as almonds, pecans, and pumpkin seeds) for essential healthy fats and fiber.
The star ingredient is the nutty, mild-flavored edible insects (e.g., dried crickets or edible mealworms), which provide a significant, sustainable, and complete protein source without altering the familiar taste you love. Bound together with a touch of natural sweetener (like honey or maple syrup) and a hint of warming spice (like cinnamon), this granola offers balanced energy, incredible texture, and a gentle introduction to sustainable eating.
